Goddard makes you think for yourself like nothing else does!
Full Review of the Program:
My experience at Goddard has been incredible. Coming from a traditional educational background, I was dubious about this alternative model of low-residency programs. Would it be as rigorous, as useful as regular writing programs? I wondered.
Now, at the end of two years, I could not have been more thankful for choosing this unusual, inspiring and extremely challenging program. At Goddard, I truly learned to think for myself and discover my own voice. The faculty is great, the one-on-one mentoring really nurturing for novice writers. I recommend this experience whole-heartedly.
Advice to Prospective Students:
Do not make the mistake of thinking that a low-residency program is "less work". If you commit to it, make as much space in your life as you would for a traditional full-time program. Find out the vital differences between a traditional model and a low-residency model and see what suits your needs best.
