Program Description

As the founding institute of osteopathic education, KCOM offers a four-year course of study, leading to the degree doctor of osteopathic medicine (D.O.). Faculty members represent a full range of basic science and clinical specialty areas. With an emphasis on primary care, the curriculum is designed to graduate osteopathic physicians well prepared for the challenges of primary care or further specialty study.
