Program Description
The MFA writing program is a two year course offering workshops in fiction, poetry, non fiction, screenwriting, playwriting, and cross-genre. Students may takes workshops in various genres, as well as seminars and studios in painting, drawing, film, and photography, among others. The program boasts a diverse and supportive community of writers and students can take advantage of the myriad of cultural and artistic activities and opportunities within the school and in the greater Bay Area.
